Hey there!
I am a student and Geelong local that strives to lead life with a positive attitude and a commitment to uplifting the people around me. I have a lovely and tight-knit family, with two younger sisters that I would do anything for and a whole host of younger cousins, nieces, and nephews. I adore kids! I share my time between them, my hobbies when I can, and my passion for supporting disadvantaged individuals. I have been working this kind of job for a few months now, and I find it incredibly rewarding.
What has brought you to AmAble?
I came to AmAble in search of a support worker job, as their client base of primarily children was a massive plus for me. Working with kids is my dream, and I look forward to the opportunity to grow my skill set and diversify my experiences while also staying in touch with my inner child and making a real impact on people that need support.
What’s something interesting about you that people might not guess?
This is now my go to “fun fact” about myself: I actually really enjoy dance! Every Friday and Sunday I do ballroom dance with oldies in town and it has become one of my favourite forms of self expression.
What’s your favourite fun fact?
That humans are bananas share 50% of the same DNA!
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I play sports, like football and basketball, I go camping with my family or partner (or both), or I stay at home and read/write. Since I was a boy though, I have always had a love for video games and as an adult they are my sneaky guilty pleasure!
If there was person that you could meet, dead or alive, who would it be?
Tyler Childers, so I could ask for an autograph for my sister (her favourite).
